An accomplished photographer, Kathryn Anthony’s photographs have received awards and appeared in numerous venues.
Her photo, “A Cooperation,” taken along the Greek-Turkish United Nations Buffer Zone in Cyprus, received first prize in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s European Union Center photo competition.
Kathryn Anthony’s “Akrata Boats”, part of her photo series from Greece, was exhibited in Chicago at the Greek Consulate, the Neighborhoods of the World events at Navy Pier’s Crystal Gardens, and the National Hellenic Museum.
Her photo “12 Apostles” shows this world-famous marine national park in Victoria, Australia.
Her photo “Beautiful Burano” reflects her many travels to Venice, Italy and its surrounding islands.
“Taking the Plunge” a part of this collage was exhibited in a juried competition entitled a.Dot – “Architects Doing Other Things” in Chicago.
“Gateway to Paradise: Windansea Beach” received first place in photo competition. Published on cover of About Town La Jolla Magazine – on display for 3 months in hotel lobbies and magazine stands throughout La Jolla, California.
